Abstract
In the article activity of academician opens up АН the USSR of Б.Е. Веденеева is in Academy of sciences of the USSR (1932-1946). Among important problems development of which was managed by Boris Evgenievich, it should be noted application of methods of mathematical statistics to research of hydrological processes. Characteristic and fundamental principle of researches already in a that period the real prognostication of development of aquatic economy became in the economic important districts of country, such as Altai, East Kazakhstan, Ural and western districts of Siberia.
