History of traction varieties
Abstract
The article deals with the history of different types of traction beginning from an animal used as tractive force and completing with creation of steam engine. The evolution of the idea on a self-propelled vehicle has been highlighted in the article considering thoughts of Leonardo da
Vinci, Simon Steven, Isaac Newton, Dan Papen, James Wаtt and those of other scientists and inventors.
